Our Mission Statement
Gifting Hands Foundation Inc. empowers underserved communities in Maryland, Jamaica, and Haiti through high-impact humanitarian aid. We maximize donor contributions by repurposing high-value medical assets—such as Hoyer lifts, wheelchairs, walkers and oxygen machines—for under-resourced clinics. Leveraging our leadership’s clinical expertise in Nursing, Hospital Administrator and Emergency Medicine, we ensure operational efficiency and sustainability through equipment orientation for frontline staff. Our programs prioritize mental health, maternal health, disaster relief, and veteran wellness, delivering essential supplies from prenatal kits to emergency tarpaulins. We bridge healthcare gap, providing vulnerable populations with the tools and dignity necessary for long-term self-sufficiency.
Our Process
Collect
Supplies and donations are collected through community drives, shipping partners, and online fundraising.
Transparency
We partner with Percy Junor and Mandeville Hospital Regional administrators to ensure every donation reach the hospitals directly.
Transportation
Transportation costs is paid from your donation through the foundation.
Delivery
Donations are shipped in secure containers, with tracking and oversight, ensuring nothing is lost or diverted, directly to the various hospital.
Impact
Even one blood pressure monitor can serve dozens of patients each week.
Donations reduce preventable deaths from treatable conditions and improve the quality of care.
Hospitals can serve patients with dignity, efficiency, and adequate equipment and resources.
